They were some of the most inspiring people I met yesterday. It’s great seeing people my parents age that are engaged and want to make the world a better place for their kids and grandkids.

2 days on Citypass stuff: Space Needle (I never did go when I lived there), Woodland Park Zoo, MoPop, Seattle Aquarium, and Chihuly. 2 days east driving the Cascades and back stopping at any view (11 waterfalls on the route), staying in Leavenworth over night. 2 days on the peninsula visiting the Hoh and Quinalt rainforests as well as Kalaloch beach plus whatever else we can fit in, over night still to be decided. We’re also going to fit in a whale/otter boat tour somewhere.

Due to a scheduling conflict, we moved our Seattlevacation up from August to week after next!

Guess I missed the Palestinian pogroms which justified Israel’s genocidal war on the Palestinian people.

1. Why did Palestinians start hating Jews?

2. What did Israel do to help resolve that conflict?

3. Which side has disproportionately taken casualties throughout the history of the nation?

4. Which side has a military doctrine which allows for nuking any invading force?

I think #1 is probably a good starting point to come to grips with the reasons for the Palestinian people fighting, literally, for survival.

This isn’t one of mine, but lettuce nudibranchs are great algae eaters! Some sea slugs, like the leaf sheep (2), sea bunny slug (3), and fairy/cyerce sea slug (5), eat very specific algae and nothing else. I’ve looked into it. They’re so adorable.
