I think it depends though. I’ve seen escalators with markers to indicate standing on the left. In that scenario, I think best to do as indicated rather than insist on right is right.
Adam Yauch from the Beastie Boys was one, and David Lynch very recently was another. Both hit really hard :-(
The one I always remember is from when I was a kid, probably about 8-10 years old.
It’s basically just this. I was on a bridge over a river (not a huge bridge or a huge river) and I somehow knew that my younger brother had fallen into the water, and I jump down and the water is only about thigh deep and I’m searching and searching in this muddy water, pulling it apart frantically with my hands, and I just can’t find him, and it goes on and on. I can still see it vividly. Deeply unsettling.
Disagree, I think we need to stick together.
I’m on Sync and I see avatars. Think it’s a setting somewhere.
EDIT - sorry, I see someone else has already said much the same :-)
I started watching that once, but found it pretty hard to get into. Should have another go though, thanks for the reminder.
Have you ever seen Hotel Room? 3 unrelated stories, set in the same hotel room in different years. One has Crispin Glover and Alicia Witt and is excellent. The other two are decent enough too. I think they’re all on YouTube.
My one is a show that may or may not have been related to Twin Peaks - after Season 3, Lynch was apparently working on something with a working title of either Wisteria or Undiscovered Night. IIRC it was a tie up with Netflix and was being made by Twin Peaks Productions, which has only ever made TP material, so the chances seemed high.
Unfortunately COVID happened, the project stalled and was eventually dropped, and of course Lynch died not too long ago.
I’d love to know what it was planned to be, TP or not.
RIP David
Cool. I better hope Underworld keep releasing new stuff then… 😁
She came from Greece, she had a thirst for knowledge…
Best thing on Reddit, always made me laugh 😁
There already is a banana in the picture. That lizard is just HUGE.
Do we get access to their entire back catalogues?
Assuming so:
But ask me tomorrow and I’d probably have at least 3 different answers! 😁
Careful with those lists though, it’s not unknown for bad actors to add innocent accounts to them.
‘Better’ is a subjective judgement - for me the answer is absolutely not, I’ll always prefer a real physical book.
For others the answer will be yes, and for yet others it’ll be maybe or sometimes.
There’s no objectively true answer to the question though.
That’s disgusting, but not so much the dirty dishes, as the idea that he thought it just wasn’t his job to ever do them. Jesus Christ…
Good for you for holding firm! 😁👍
Only for travellers with the Mrs Grace L Ferguson Airline (and Storm Door Company)
It’s a sailboat!
I think so, yes - I first used the internet when I was about 18, it was the first real flush of it becoming a widely used consumer product.
As such, I had already formed most of my political/ethical stances, more or less, and they haven’t really changed, other than to react to new factors in the world. I obviously still had some growing up to do but I think my basic life view hasn’t really altered much.
