Some decades ago when I was still an engineering student, my team had to present an electronic assignment. The damn circuit didn’t work, no matter what I did. So I decided to go ask the teacher for advice. I walked away a couple of meters, when my teammates told me that the circuit finally started working. As soon as I went back, it failed again. We soon determined that it failed only when I was near it. My teammates presented the assignment while I was at the other side of the lab. We passed the assignment, and sure enough, when I approached again to pick up my things, the damn circuit stopped working again.
I FUCKING HATE ketchup. I can’t tolerate the taste or the texture. But I recognize that people that love ketchup are not evil, just misguided.
Yeah, the first two worked so well…
Well, if what you have been doing doesn’t work, then stop doing it, and do something different.
Dude, looks like you are just looking for an excuse to be an asshole. Don’t ask for permission, just go and make other people suffer, if that’s what you want. Let’s see how far you get with that mindset. Maybe one day you’ll be the president of a country. Shrugs
Save the world from what? Also, do I get any cool powers with that? I worry that it will be like “ONLY YOU CAN SAVE THE WORLD, but you’re still a normal average human, so good luck with that lmao.”
Thanks, I wish there was a Spanish version so I could share it with my parents.
I’m pretty sure that the answer is against the Terms Of Service of this instance.
Autistic adult here. I love being alone. Since 2020 (pandemic) I have spent both Christmas and the new year alone at my home with my cat. I just cooked something special for myself and acted like it was a normal day. Also I sent messages to all my friends wishing them happy holidays.
I have to admit, though, that this year I felt a little lonely, so I decided to visit my family again, but only for Christmas. I want to spend the new year alone, otherwise it would be too much time surrounded by too many people.
In reddit there was a thread at AskReddit about terrible things that will happen soon but very few people knew about them. It was an anxiety-inducing thread that got thousands of upvotes. So I decided to create the opposite: a thread about GOOD things that will happen and most people are not aware of them. It reached hundreds of upvotes and comments in 1 hour before it was deleted by the mods because “it broke the rules”.
I debug the worst spaghetti code you have seen. Does that count as getting my hands dirty?
No…?
Ok, never mind…
Splatoon 3 is also the last game I have played. I would be fucked, because I would die of a heart attack after losing a X rank battle.
For science communication:
I feel like I’m the least Mexican dude in Mexico:
I guess some of the differences are because I’m autistic? Also, this deviation from the mean is only mentally. Physically I’m completely average.
That can get violent very easily. “Guess what, you’ll be in the middle of the most interesting war in history because it was the one that caused the most bloodied carnage and most suffering, ever.”
Mexico is so hard-as-fuck that was not included in the list.
Exercise and diet. That allowed me to lose 15 kg.
For exercise: I bought Ring Fit Adventure for the Nintendo Switch at the start of 2020. That’s the only thing that has motivated me to exercise. Now I even do some additional weight lifting and cardio exercises. This has helped me the most to lose weight.
For diet: I have gastrointestinal issues. Since 2022 I started a diet to alleviate those problems. This helped only a little for losing weight.
