3·7 days agoIf the power goes out, you don’t wake back up. This ain’t fallout 4. If the power goes out, you’re a corpse. We don’t have a way to thaw human sized creatures that doesn’t involve ice crystals rupturing cell walls, and organs. The only creatures that seem to be able to do it, either live at the poles in water, or are tiny. Even then, most of them aren’t mammals.

1·11 days agoI would say that your username doesn’t check out, but being honest we’re all coders, or at least script kiddie pirates, around here.
I agree, but bread and noodles were damn near the first stable foodstuffs we discovered. I suppose beer would be the next stable food we discovered worldwide. I only have an issue because you’re talking about a food that literally every single civilization discovered independently, so bread as we know it, isn’t bread as an all encompassing concept.
Cooking. I don’t mean heating up prepared food. I mean taking raw produce, spices, herbs, and starches to make your own food. Doesn’t need to be extravagant. Start with an omelette or maybe properly made scrambled eggs. Move on to other “easy” dishes like grilled cheese sandwiches and spaghetti. I am constantly amazed when I hear fully grown adults saying shit like, “I could never make anything like Beef Wellington.” Yes you can, just try and fail a few times!

No, but it does mean that you should have the ability to learn how to count cards. Unfortunately you need several people that know how to count cards to pull off a blackjack scheme.

I think Wall-E wasn’t running the base OS anymore. All the other Wall-E units had long since stopped functioning. Wall-E was the result of a random mutation of a bug in the code, not the intended normal state.
